Originally from the tropical islands of the Philippines, Christian singer/songwriter Dorothy Anne is inspiring listeners worldwide and making a name for herself with her unique blend of contemporary pop and worship music.

A passionate storyteller and minister, her songs evoke the journey of life and struggle. She captures a theme of hope in the midst of pain with her lyrics, pairing them with bright, catchy melodies and beautiful orchestrations. Drawing comparisons to Kari Jobe and Lauren Daigle, her music is marked by powerful, soaring vocals.

Dorothy Anne’s debut EP Always Hope is a collection of deeply personal songs. The single "Don’t Let Me Go" attracted high praise from fans on iTunes. The ballad was inspired by the love story between two favorite characters, Matthew and Mary, from the hit TV series Downton Abbey. The romantic, upbeat song "Hold on to You" is a favorite for wedding celebrations. The album also features the intimate worship song “God Above It All," co-written and especially meaningful as it was completed after the loss of her daughter Gracie Jade. The inspirational song "The Sun Rises" was written after Typhoon Haiyan tragically struck the Philippines in 2013. It has quickly become an anthem as she advocates raising relief aid for impoverished communities. Finally, the emotional worship song "Jesus You Saved Me" rounds out the EP and reflects her faith in Christ.

2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Dorothy Anne with the upcoming release of Always Hope. Her public Facebook page has grown to more than 16,000 followers. Also as a Food for the Hungry Artist, her platform is enabling her to continue bring hope to the lives of many through music and the avenue of child sponsorship.

As a professional independent recording artist, Dorothy Anne makes her home in Dallas, TX. She homeschools her five children, leads worship in her church and is a mentor to other artists. She is the co-founder of the ministry DefiningMomentsTv.com with her husband Dustin Dauenhauer.
